Folline Cullen

As President, Folline is responsible for directing the operational functions of the company.  This includes operational strategy and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate results. Mrs. Cullen joined Apollo Global from Educate Online, Inc., an online competency-based educational service provider, where she was the CFO. Prior to joining Educate Online, Mrs. Cullen was the CFO of Wall Street International.  She began her career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche, New York, as a Certified Public Accountant. Mrs. Cullen holds a Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting from the University of Southern California.

Gregory W. Cappelli

Before joining Apollo Education Group, Inc., Mr. Cappelli spent 10 years as a research analyst for Credit Suisse, where he most recently served as managing director/senior research analyst and founded the Credit Suisse global services team. Before joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Cappelli was a vice president and senior research analyst at ABN AMRO. He holds his B.A. in Economics from Indiana University and has completed his M.B.A. from the Brennan School of Business at Dominican University.

Erin Kelly

Erin Kelly joined Apollo in 2008, where during her tenure she served in a variety of capacities including Director of Technical Accounting, Senior Director of Investor Relations and Global Controller. Prior to joining Apollo, she was a Manager of Technical Accounting at Phelps Dodge Corporation. Mrs. Kelly began her career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen in Phoenix and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mrs. Kelly holds a Bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University.

Jose Herrera Perea

Jose was appointed to the role of Managing Director, Open Colleges in 2019.  Over the past 20 years, Jose has held positions driving growth and shareholder value in Europe, Australia and Asia. As COO, Jose led a start-up ASX listed company focus on artificial intelligence applied in the areas of Human Capital, Marketing and Careers for three years. Previously, he had been Executive General Manager of Open Universities Australia Pty Ltd (OUA) for six years. In that time, Jose led OUA’s emerging digital division, led the global launch Open2Study building an engaged community of 1+ million users among 100+ countries within less than two years, had P&L responsibility for Higher Education, e3Learning, Open Training Institute and domain registries businesses .STUDY and .COURSES.  Jose also held various international roles in iconic organisations at the cutting edge of digital such as Google, SEEK Ltd, IDP Education Pty Ltd and Fujitsu. Jose graduated from Monash University (Graduate Certificate of Business Management), Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain (Bachelor in Business Management and Organisation), Business Dublin School in Ireland (Diploma in Web Design),  The Australian Institute of Company Directors, and the APAC Executive Programme (INSEAD). Graham Gaddes

Graham, a qualified chartered accountant, spent his early career at Arthur Andersen & Co, where he worked in the firm’s audit, insolvency and management consultancy and training divisions. This was followed by a 15 year tenure at Kaplan in a number of senior roles, pioneering the launch of its online training function and vocational part of the business. In 2012, Graham became the Chief Operating Officer at BPP where he successfully restructured the business, delivering four years of continuous growth across both the UK and global business entities whilst launching market leading, data-led learning solutions. Following a brief period as Chief Operating Officer for one of the largest providers of software solutions and data analytics to global automotive brands, Graham returned to BPP as Chief Executive Officer with a clear strategy to continue to grow the business across multiple geographies. Graham holds a BA Accounting & Business Finance from the University of Manchester and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) where he has sat on both the Assessment Committee and LPD Board.

Luiz Silveira Filho

Mr. Silveria Filho has been the CEO at FAEL since 2012, where he has grown the institution from a small distance learning college of approximately 10,000 students to Brazil’s leading distance learning institution with more than 35,000 students today. Mr. Silveria Filho has been in the education and technology industry since 1999, when he founded EDUCON – Technology in Education Ltd. At EDUCON, he developed a distance learning teacher training project in partnership with State Universities, and its first distance learning program in 2000. In 2001, Mr. Silveria Filho launched EDUCON’s first online Executive MBA with University of São Paulo with a network of classroom support centers in Brazil, which later became a model for the Brazilian distance learning market. As executive director (until 2007), EDUCON became Brazil’s largest distance education group, serving more than 100,000 students with presence in 1,000 cities. Subsequently, Mr. Silveria Filho was the Director of the Distance Education Center of Tuiuti (TEN – Tuiuti Education Network) in 2008, offering courses and seminars throughout Brazil via satellite. During this time, Mr. Silveria Filho participated in the development of the first Brazilian distance learning training course for teachers.

Matthew R. Henriksen

Prior to joining Apollo, Mr. Henriksen worked at Ballard Spahr LLP, a large private law firm, where he represented public and private companies and individuals in connection with mergers and acquisitions, financing and other complex commercial transactions, business formation and various other general corporate matters. Before joining Ballard Spahr, he practiced at another regional law firm, and interned with the U.S. Department of Defense and the Utah State Legislature. Mr. Henriksen earned his law degree and M.B.A. at the S.J. Quinney School of Law and David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, and also holds a B.A. in Organizational Communication from the University of Utah.

Scott McMath

As Chief Information Officer for Vanta Education, Mr. McMath ensures that the company continues to advance the educational landscape globally through the effective planning, identification, and implementation of enabling technologies and information solutions across the global network. Mr. McMath has 28 year’s experience in product and software development, project outsourcing, operations, business and process re-engineering, and services design and delivery. Prior to joining Apollo Global, Mr. McMath was a Strategy Consultant for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt where he was responsible for driving the consolidation of 10 content delivery platforms. Prior to his years with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, he served as General Partner and Chief Information Officer for DCP Group, a Management and Software Consulting firm where he was responsible for the development and delivery of all client software and content solutions. Mr. McMath has also had career experience as Senior Vice President of Product Development & Technology for Thomson NETg where his responsibilities included directing the development of over 5,000 Thomson learning products, 13 operating platforms, and various tools in 13 languages. Other career posts have been dedicated in roles such as Director of Services and Product Development for Gateway and Director of Professional and Implementation Services for Gartner Group and Harcourt. Mr. McMath began his career as a program manager for Boeing Computer Services and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Engineering & Management from Clarkson University.

Marissa Vega

Marissa Vega is Vice President of Global Operations for Vanta Education. Ms. Vega leads in the areas of student acquisition, student services, operational diligence, and strategic technology initiatives in the Vanta Education network of institutions. She oversees the implementation of global strategies, best practice sharing, training, corporate engagement and system optimization. Over the years, Ms. Vega has successively held responsibilities in the areas of enrollment, student services, business analysis, executive coaching, training, operational management, business development, and process improvement. In 1996, Ms. Vega began her career in the Apollo Education Group with its largest business unit, the University of Phoenix. During her tenure at the University, she expanded operations into new markets, mentored campus transitions into new modality offerings, and participated in several national advisory committees regarding policy implementation and strategic planning. Prior to the University of Phoenix, she obtained diverse work experience in investments, import-export, and hotel remodeling. Ms. Vega holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from University of Arizona, and a Master’s of Business Administration with a specialization in Global Management from the University of Phoenix.
