Jose was appointed to the role of Managing Director, Open Colleges in 2019.  Over the past 20 years, Jose has held positions driving growth and shareholder value in Europe, Australia and Asia. As COO, Jose led a start-up ASX listed company focus on artificial intelligence applied in the areas of Human Capital, Marketing and Careers for three years. Previously, he had been Executive General Manager of Open Universities Australia Pty Ltd (OUA) for six years. In that time, Jose led OUA’s emerging digital division, led the global launch Open2Study building an engaged community of 1+ million users among 100+ countries within less than two years, had P&L responsibility for Higher Education, e3Learning, Open Training Institute and domain registries businesses .STUDY and .COURSES.  Jose also held various international roles in iconic organisations at the cutting edge of digital such as Google, SEEK Ltd, IDP Education Pty Ltd and Fujitsu. Jose graduated from Monash University (Graduate Certificate of Business Management), Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain (Bachelor in Business Management and Organisation), Business Dublin School in Ireland (Diploma in Web Design),  The Australian Institute of Company Directors, and the APAC Executive Programme (INSEAD). Jose was accepted by Stanford University in Stanford Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate Program in 2014. Jose is MIPA Member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and he is ColourGrid™ Certified by “Life. Be in it” in Learning the Language of Social Inclusion.

Graham Gaddes

Graham, a qualified chartered accountant, spent his early career at Arthur Andersen & Co, where he worked in the firm’s audit, insolvency and management consultancy and training divisions. This was followed by a 15 year tenure at Kaplan in a number of senior roles, pioneering the launch of its online training function and vocational part of the business. In 2012, Graham became the Chief Operating Officer at BPP where he successfully restructured the business, delivering four years of continuous growth across both the UK and global business entities whilst launching market leading, data-led learning solutions. Following a brief period as Chief Operating Officer for one of the largest providers of software solutions and data analytics to global automotive brands, Graham returned to BPP as Chief Executive Officer with a clear strategy to continue to grow the business across multiple geographies. Graham holds a BA Accounting & Business Finance from the University of Manchester and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) where he has sat on both the Assessment Committee and LPD Board.

Luiz Silveira Filho

Mr. Silveria Filho has been the CEO at FAEL since 2012, where he has grown the institution from a small distance learning college of approximately 10,000 students to Brazil’s leading distance learning institution with more than 35,000 students today. Mr. Silveria Filho has been in the education and technology industry since 1999, when he founded EDUCON – Technology in Education Ltd. At EDUCON, he developed a distance learning teacher training project in partnership with State Universities, and its first distance learning program in 2000. In 2001, Mr. Silveria Filho launched EDUCON’s first online Executive MBA with University of São Paulo with a network of classroom support centers in Brazil, which later became a model for the Brazilian distance learning market. As executive director (until 2007), EDUCON became Brazil’s largest distance education group, serving more than 100,000 students with presence in 1,000 cities. Subsequently, Mr. Silveria Filho was the Director of the Distance Education Center of Tuiuti (TEN – Tuiuti Education Network) in 2008, offering courses and seminars throughout Brazil via satellite. During this time, Mr. Silveria Filho participated in the development of the first Brazilian distance learning training course for teachers.
